The system supports automated issuance of both card-based and booklet identity documents, including national ID cards, passports, and driving licenses. Engineered for government and institutional environments, the kiosk integrates secure storage, controlled access, and automated delivery workflows, enabling efficient and trusted document issuance.

Each card layer is uniquely personalized, significantly strengthening anti-counterfeiting protection and ensuring reliable issuance across distributed service points.

Beyond its identity enrollment and issuance solutions, EMPTECH highlighted its latest advancements in document personalization and security technologies, reinforcing its capabilities across the full identity lifecycle.

A key highlight of the exhibition was EMPTECH’s Multi-Layer Personalization (MLP™) technology, enabling next-generation secure card production with embedded multi-layer identity data. This engineering approach delivers ICAO-compliant true-color portrait rendering on polycarbonate credentials, where each card layer is uniquely personalized and structurally secured.

Extending this personalization foundation, EMPTECH showcased its next-generation OVD innovation — the Photonic Crystal security feature — introducing advanced dynamic optical effects for polycarbonate identity documents, including passports and national IDs.

This technology further strengthens optical security and represents a major advancement in anti-counterfeiting protection for high-security identity credentials.
